Lón is the next district east of the district
Nes and the town Höfn. You drive through a tunnel in Almannaskarð on
the main road to get there. The route Kaldamús is about 10-15 minutes drive from
Höfn in them mountain Fjarðarheiði. When you come through the tunnel you will
see this mountain straight ahead, and in couple of minutes drive from the tunnel
you are there, the mountain will be on your left when the main road starts to
follow the base of this mountain.
