Fróðafoss

Einar Rúnar Sigurðsson on the first ascent of Fróðafoss, WI3 45m. A beautiful waterfall and always a favorite of mine since it was the first waterfall I climbed (it took 3 tries). It is found straight up from the house Fróðasker, which is furthest to the east of all the farms in Hof.

Grasfróði!    About 100 meters to the left from Fróðafoss is the route Grasfróði, and on the west side of all the farms in Hof is Bæjargil, a gorge with many beautiful routes, some of which looks harder than anything that I've ever seen in pure ice.

In the page Hofsfjöll I describe the climb of the rock peak Veðrastapi, as well as some watefalls nearby.
